I am given varying doses of morphine to help with the pain and shortness of breath in the gut area but it doesn’t seem to help it’s so awful the only time I’m not aware of it is when I’m laid on my right side and I’m constantly dry mouthed but I think that’s my oxygen any help please

Hi, sorry to hear that.In taking hydro morphone for pain which is dilaudid for pain. It’s about 5 time stronger than morphine. I have liquid morphine , but does not agree with me. Ask your doctor to change your meds.remember it’s better to take stronger meds and function than to sit around in pain n have no life . Good luck
