Pains after gastroscopy with Bravo

Hi,

I had a gastroscopy with Bravo capsule 2 weeks ago under sedation , they also took some biopsies,

I've still got pains in my oesophagus - mainly when I swallow and drink hot drinks. Have just seen a consultant who did it - he suggested to wait another 2 weeks and then have an x-ray.

He thinks that the capsule had detached but the pain is from the biopsy area because I have hypersensitive oesophagus. Before the procedure , he said that 2 people out of a few thousand that he did ,only felt something - find it hard to believe!

Has anybody had pains after gastroscopy for so long?

THanks

I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy followed by an endoscopy with a biopsy. I didn't feel a thing. No after effects ; other than those caused by the diagnosis.
