I repeat the same wotd over and over again. Is is a curse word. After all day I am mentally drained. Can anyone relate?

I know how it is having intrusive words. It's a bit like kids knowing just which words they're not supposed to say, and winding their parents up by making excuses to say them.

It's not an easy treatment, but CBT tells us to ignore intrusive thoughts and words, not push them away. They get fed up with being ignored and go away of their own accord.

Easier said than done, I know. But it helps to keep as busy as possible without overdoing things. That means your focus is directed elsewhere.
