Hi I am Sarah and I am new to this. I was wondering if someone could help me with tips for dealing with rage/anger after childbirth?

I haven't got any kids myself so haven't experience this particular trigger. But having a new baby is a huge event in your life, and you are having to deal with new responsibilities and constant demands for attention while functioning on little sleep and with hormones racing around your body!

I have an explosive temper myself, so I know how difficult it can be to control anger. It's difficult to think clearly when you're in the grip of it. Perhaps, though I know it's difficult with a baby, try to set aside fifteen minutes a day for some mindfulness and relaxation exercises.

Perhaps also try music. It doesn't have to be soothing, just something you enjoy. Something jaunty and uplifting might help! I'm afraid I haven't got anything else very practical to offer, but I do hope you can get over this soon and enjoy motherhood.
