Hello. I am a mum to a 22 year old son who has become a slave to his symptoms. How can I help him? What should I avoid saying? What should I being saying/doing so that he feels good about himself?

Yahoo Groups has a support group for parents of adult children who have OCD.

I think you would find it helpful. You need a therapist immediately to do exposure therapy and perhaps medication from a psychiatrist. OCD gets worse untreated. Good luck.
