There is a growing awareness in the research now around yoga and its exceptional effects on mood and nervous system disorders such as depression and anxiety. As a yoga teacher this is a super resource but anyone interested in yoga or indeed psychology will enjoy these interviews.

I am so interested in yoga but with work and a kid that has a mountain of homework at night ( its ridiculous), I am so tired and I never have the time to go. 😪

I feel so upset at the school for this but don't want to be that parent that complains. It's mostly Math that my son does not get, he's autistic. Anyway hopefully one day I can incorporate this lovely system into my life.

You can start very simply at home so you don't overwhelm yourself. One of the most hopeful and helpful things to do is to prioritise your own self care. Without it being too much. So start compassionately and gently. Here's my yin yoga video that is just three passive poses and ten minutes. Let me know how you get on. One day at a time.

Thank you, I will start at home as you suggested. I guess it has to be day by day.

Absolutely. Start slowly and gently. And know that's enough and reflects your own unique journey. You might also enjoy listening to some of the current 21 day Deepak Chopra meditation - you can find the link on my most recent post. Enjoy!
