i did find this very difficult to do as i kept falling over and i cant sit back on my heels from kneeling either. i used to be able to do that. my daughter is coming back in soon and i will see if i can get her to hold me still. i tried to do it against a wall but it didnt work. im still lengthening my leg and arm though so im sure that helps i feel it does. i do enjoy your videos. its a bit hard to hear as there is an echo but my ears got used to it. i hope that you enjoyed your holiday, i really admire you for what you are doing and what you have been through with your illness. my step father was on kidney dialysis, he had raynauds. you are a wonderful example to others. love grace xoxo
Hi Grace, thank you so much for your lovely message. Don't worry at all if you find It difficult. Let me suggest a modification - you can keep the extended leg on the floor so you benefit from a stretch but connect the toes so you are more balanced. Always just do what you can whilst you build muscle strength. Thanks for the feedback on the sound - I've got a whizzy Blue Yeti microphone en route so will be using that for the next videos. I hope that makes it better for you.
I really enjoyed this after a stressful day! Thank you so much!
This is great. I just subscribed to your YouTube channel.
Do you have any yoga tips for anterior pelvic tilt and the psoas muscle?
Many thanks!
Thanks so much. So delighted you enjoyed it and a very warm welcome to my channel. Definitely work on your hips to help with both those aspects. Psoas is the deepest muscle in the body so when it is out of sorts, it can be useful to go into the deeper aspects of who you are and what you might be holding onto in your emotional terrain. You may find my hip focussed video helpful. youtu.be/6CbD8fzMt3E
Do pop yourself up on a cushion or two if that helps when doing seated hip openers as this will gently encourage the pelvis forwards. Do also allow yourself to feel any stuck emotion going on it that area. We can hold a lot of old emotions in the hips too. So many layers we are working on through the wisdom of yoga.
Best,
Ciara
This is so awesome! I can't wait to get started.Thank you, Ciara!
