HI Everyone.

Sleep is one of THE key aspects to our wellbeing. If our sleep is out this can knock out hormones, make us crave more sugar, result in lack lustre complexion and generally just make us feel dull. In order to thrive, we need to be well rested so we can digest the emotions of the day as well as let our body work on cellular repair. Magnesium is a wonderful mineral to aid sleep. I use Ancient Minerals which is a naturally sourced magnesium chloride and easier for the body to absorb as you apply it to the skin. Epsom salts baths are also a great tool to replenish magnesium in the tissues. Modern life can deplete magnesium in the tissues - too much caffeine, alcohol, chronically over-stimulated stress response and too many processed foods. The baths and the spray a re great place to start and then begin to look at your caffeine consumption and overall nutrient profile. Are you taking in foods that truly serve you or that dull you down further? Foods high in magnesium include nuts, dark chocolate, dark leafy greens, avocados, fish, whole grains and seeds too. So lots of lovely choices to inspire you.
