The area around the tops of my fingers and around and below my nails is red, sore and swollen - has just developed over past few days. Not sure if its RA related or something else. They don't go blue or white so don't think it's Raynauds but has slightly concerned me.

I've seen some pictures of this happening in PsA Mags but and wonder about Vasculitis doing this too. I thin you should see a GP or your rheumy nurse soon as possible to put your mind at rest - it's probably nothing but best get it checked out asap nonetheless. Tilda x
I agree with Tilda, call your specialist nurse for advice on this. Hope it settles down soon

Take photos of the fingers now, and make sure you tell the rheumatologist or rheumatology nurse next time you see them. Photos are a great way of really showing what is going on especially as chances are it will have all gone back to normal by your next appointment.
