You can free 30minutes advice from most solicitors who will let you know what your rights are.

Worth a try.

No probs, mum was a solicitor until she retired last year (matrimonal) and i worked in solicitors offices for about 10 year.

Is it a private owned flat, council or part owned with a housing association? As you may find different rules on the communal areas dependent on the owner so to speak.

As Josie2 says though you can see a solicitor or CAB should be able to help you.

(Or a box of nails to fix the ramp down so they cant keep moving it for you ;) )

Good Luck

Call up the social work department at your council and ask for a visit. Get them to organise permanent adaptations for your doorway. That way the neighbour can't move it. You shouldn't even have to pay for it, though different councils have slightly different rules about disability adaptations to houses.

Have you spoken to your neighbour and explained what the ramp is for and asked him to leave it there? He maybe doesn't realise how important it is to you.

Good luck,
