Swollen Ankles

Hi i have been on Sulph and Mxt and suddenly today i have got swollen ankles especially the left one. Has anyone else experienced this, not sure if its the meds or not ???

We aren't doctors here but if I were you I would either phone your rheumy nurse or see your GP Wendy. It could be fluid retention (odeoma) or it could be RA but you shouldn't just leave it in case it's something serious. Tilda x

Definitely phone your rheumy nurse or GP, or even NHS24. Because it could possibly be related to the meds, (including being the result of a kidney problem cause by meds) you need to report it quickly and get advice on what to do. It may turn out to be nothing serious, but its a doctor that needs to decide that, not you, or any of us.

I agree with Tilda and Earthwitch. We wouldn't be able to diagnose the problem on here, and there are many different things that it could be, so best to get it checked out by a medical professional, especially given that it's come on so suddenly.
