I am under mr spalding for my knee. My rheumy is dr shaudhri and i see him at the eliot. I am also there for sleep apnea. The eliot messed up my knee hence i had to go to cov to get it sorted out.xx

Hi Sylvi, My consultant is Dr Ravindrin in University Hospital Walsgrave, Coventry. Have only seen him twice, first time, was a nightmare, second time (on Tuesday of this week) he was so different, maybe that was because my husband came with me. I was supposed to start MTX, although, right at the moment my pain doesn't warrant dmards, because my bloods have always been clear we decided that I should wait for 6 months to see how the disease progresses. I'm fine with this as I don't seem to have the pain that others do in here, although who knows what the future may hold for me. He did assure me that if I have any problems I was just to ring and he would see me very quickly, or if I wanted to talk, I could always ring my Rheumy nurse (she has always been pleasant with me and a good listener). I hope you are pain free at the moment, I wish you all the best, good to know there is someone in my area with similar problems. Thanks for answering my post.

I live in bulkington, i don't know where you live. I like my dr and rheumy nurse they both are lovely people. I am at walsgrave tomorrow at 10.30am. I like walsgrave better than the eliot as the surgeons are better. My knee was replaced in the eliot 4yrs ago and last may mr spalding had to redo it,and since then i have come on wonderfly. They told me it would take a long time to recover from the op,but it is only in the last few weeks that i have seen the improvement myself.

I also love the clothes shop there as they have some lovely handbags there. I am terrible for my handbags.xxx

Sylvi, I live in Binley, Coventry, aprox 5mins from Walsgrave Hospital, it's so handy for me. Usually when I have an appointment my husband drops me off, its sometimes so hard to find a parking place.

Hi bencar

Might be worth having a look at the hospitals tab at the top of the page. Here you will see reviews and comments that people have made about their hospitals, and you can see if yours is one there. You are also welcome to fill in the poll or post a review on this page, though we do ask that people don't name specific members of staff in their reviews.

Kind regards

Victoria
