Sacroilliac Joint Injections - Has anyone ever experienced these?

I have had injections into the spine, which was a graphic experience, but never in the sacroilliac joint. Given I had a bad experience with spinal injection I am a bit wary.

I have just had my first lot not pleasant but they did help. Still get twinges but nowhere near as bad as they were. It only stings for a short time
