Have received my copy of consultants notes from beginning of month (July) it does amuse me the subtle changes of diagnosis each time, this time I have Feltys with Neutropenia and Lymphocytopenia, Cervical Spondylitis (?) and Asthma (who knew - lol) Last time it was Sero Positive RA with Feltys and Degenerative Cervical Spine Disease. The one thing I did notice was the hand written note which confirmed that funding had been approved for Rituximab so it musnt have been as hard a sell as my Rheumy thought. No appointment as yet but hopefully not too long, desperate to give up steroids.

In the main am okay, dont feel great but then rarely do so in my world its probably as good as it gets.

Have read several; useful blogs on Rituximab on here but may well ask those people a few more questions once I have a date.

Hope all are doing okay...

Linda well done to you one for getting the drug and two for being able to read the drs notes!! I had to put that in as i find noone can read what they have written.

Now that you have approval i bet it has given you hope and i sure hope that it give relieve for you. I'm still stuck with steroids and mtx and a host of other drugs. So please let us know when you get it and how it is working for you.

It kinda felt like I was holding my breath, if they hadn't approved it I would be stuck on current cocktail which whilst keeping the worst at bay is more about standing still than moving forward. Fed up of steroids and the drugs I now have to take to counter taking them. Will absolutely let you know how I get on. From blogs of recent times it seems you haven't been having the best time of late, hope it settles for you soon x Linda
