Well the shoes have been bought, not quite what I had in mind but they'll more than do. I went shopping with a very good friend, we've always had the same size feet, she was also looking for new shoes for my sons wedding,I don't think I'd realised how much my feet have changed in just 9monthe really. Long gone are the high strappy sandals, which I did try to get my foot into, not a good look when your hopping around cursing with cramp with a beautiful sandal stuck onto a great big ugly toe!! We did have a laugh, strangely enough she has never asked me why my feet have changed so dramatically, she knows I've been unwell,we seemed to have agreed not to talk about it. I haven't really told anyone not even my children. I guess im still burying my head. So no-one at the wedding will know best that way.
Thank you so much for all your support,it really does help. Cristina I love the way your boycotting your doctors & they don't even know! I've been doing the same with the hospital & had to phone them today to remind them that I'm still here waiting for an appointment,I dont mind ignoring them but when it's the other way round...... She offered me 1 in august but I opted for one in September by which time I'll have been taking the meds for six weeks. Gill I might ake you up on your offer & thanks once again to you all x

Caza,i am glad you have found some shoes for the wedding. There are now some very nice flats out there that cater for us with funny feet (i am not calling them anything else) there are hotter and padders who do some wide fitting shoes. I have a pair of gold strappy flats that i brought in tenerife 12 yrs ago and i love them so much i am wearing them to death, but i won't get rid of them.
Don't mind me for sounding stupid, did you say when your son is getting married. My head is so foggy at the moment i can't remember a lot of things,so please excuse me. I have to see the rheumy nurse on wednesday this week to see if she can bring down my inflamation.
Please do tell your children what is wrong then they can have some understanding of the way you have been just laterly. I am sure they do suspect something anyway.
Hi Sylvia, yes my son is getting married this week,so that's why I put off going on any meds until afterwards. Will start them on Monday. I have ugg sandals which I've had for a cple of yrs & they're great. X
Hi Caza,
Glad you got some shoes for the wedding, hope you all have a really nice day.
My feet have been quite sore recently, it's so unpredictable though, one minute they are fine and then the next really painful, hey ho.
I bet your children know there is something bothering you, maybe a good idea to explain after the wedding, when you start taking your meds.
