Keep your water intake up and take folic acid every day except injection day. I found bucastem ( on prescription ) helped on the truly awful days. Hope you feel better soon xx

Join the club! I have just had my first Enbrel injection today. Am on maximum MTX by injection. I take one folic acid every day except MTX day. On the day before MTX and the day after MTX I take 2 tablets as recommended by my rheumy nurse - see if they will let you do this too to see if it helps you.

Have to wait and see how I cope with the MTX and Enbrel, hospital said I would be able to cut down the MTX dosage, but only after they see how things go - can't wait.

Good luck
