Hope you get on ok, I know what the pain is like!

Had knee replacement last week after over a yr of dreadful pain. The surgeon said my knee was "awful". Turns out I had avascular necrosis, the blood supply had stopped, bone had died and had collapsed, so I was walking bone on bone.

It was my RA that had caused it, xray often doesn't show it, needs mri scan.

Might be an idea to google it, and if doc says no, ask about it

Anyway, good luck!!!

Luv M x

Hi Deejojo.

Good luck with your appointment I had a knee replacement 2 years ago I had osteoarthritis in my knee I have it in my other one but not bad enough for a replacement yet. It was the best thing I had done. Take care.xx

Hi,

Hope you get good news .I had my first knee replaced at age 41 and my second 6 weeks ago. I was told by a friend who is a nurse to keep complaining about the pain and make myself heard . Good luck. Donna
