what are tnf inhibitors will they work better than methatrexate

i am on methatrexate but i have jabbing pains in my back and its bad ive been offered biolojical response modifiers do these work verry good or what it seems my methatrexate has stopped working ?

NRAS have a great publication on this somewhere that I found very helpful before starting a anti-tnf, sorry not sure how to find it now but if you ring them (like I did) I'm sure they send you the info.

For me personally, it has changed my life, I'm 90% better, I am on one called Enbrel. I do still take metatrexate alongside it but only 7.5mg, apparently it works better used together.

I agree anti tnf has helped enormously you take methox to help it work
