Well I have been a busy bunny, have helped a friend who is getting married this Monday coming, she suddenly realised her friends and rellies from Brum had no way of getting to the venue. So, as I'm a fully qualified travel person who designs round the world luxury trips of a lifetime has spent 3 days finding a chauffered minibus last minute for Easter Monday for 12 people oh and infant, who was more difficult.
Then Monday I had bloods, OT tell you all about that later and GP, now my dr said on Monday evening appointment 19:20 that I was to not go back to work for 2 more months, and then she was not sure if I was ready. I think it's more my mental state than the RA as we can shove painkillers down or stick them on or if me do both, then the steroids injection has kicked in and I'm a bit like Tigger running about then all of a sudden my eyes droop and I have to sleep for an hour or two. We discussed the effect that RA has had on me job wise; my position in the shop I used to work at has been taken, I understand why but it's not easy acceptiong it. I have also had the DLA forms and again thats another nail being hammered home, I'm having to accept that I have this retched illness, I say I have but I haven't really. The OT was is great she has talked over the getting out of bed and how to stretch the tendons and ligaments, then hints for the kitchen over how to save your hands and wrists from more damage. Then she also said to me that I need to get this little bit of anger out of me; so I'm going to see a clinical Phsycologist. I can then at least move on.

Geta good pencil 40 pages but NRAS have booklet to help you fill it out with real good advice, plus on the forum on NRAS site I have asked for help and Rich C has given me loads of help. I also think filling in these things are like underlining the prob.
Hydro that sounds great, we don't have a pool here anymore used to be at the Spa but now closed. I'm really considering getting a bath lift they are about £500 but the thought of being able to get in and out wonderful

You have been such a worry Tricia-P nice to see you blogging.
You've had a lot to contend, you sound busy, don;t know how you are copying. The old Prozac does give you brain fog, official! Takes a while to give the desired effect, but works!
Look after yourself. I have been told to fill in a DLA form, can I get anything if I have been self employed because I know we are going to be in trouble when I eventually get round to paying our stepson for the work I used to do? How depressing it all is.
