Hello a post wqs put on a few months ago about adam journey with his arthritis..Adam thomas is a actor from emmerdale he ditch is arthritis drugs in favour of a diet he even went on this morning and talked about it ... i think he tried suf & lef never worked .. adam put a post on today saying diet didnt work now wants to try dmward he is in a alot of pain & struggling i just hope some people never listened to adam advice. Its dangerous that he was allowed to put this narrative into the world via national tv / sm. Lets hope this morning gets him back on to discuss how it never worked ...I directed meassaged him asked him when was is last steriod injection maybe this was helping him and not the diet he got back to me said no it was the diet working 🙈 very sad really adam is now struggling like us all.

Honestly, I think his life his choice and to be fair I did exactly the same, I hated the thoughs of taking medication for life. I however came to the same conclusion. I didn't want to take drugs but an amazing nurse gave me a right kick up the ar&e and told it's not about want, it's about need!! I am so much better and fitter because of the meds, in a way I think this is a positive story I a way. My amazing wife Helena has just been diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer at 53, she also hates the thoughts of taking medication but we now can't wait!!! Starting chemo on the 23rd and praying all will be ok.

Life is all about choice and sometimes we need the wake-up call, I've had mine and I'm doing ok. I hope he and my beautiful do ok as well. ❤️

I hope your wife gets on OK my husband had radio and chemo two years ago and we put off all sorts of stuff as you just don't know. He's now cutting down a rose tree as he puts it that has gone berserk over a shed! Life goes on and every day is a bonus even when given the all clear. Kind regards x

Hi I agree with you its personal choice. I went into remission for 4 yrs after 6 months of Methotrexate lots of exercise and healthy diet. RA came back as the Consultant told me it would and I now have infusions. Issue here is about the media coverage celebrities have influence and maybe some coverage from him about his journey back to treatment would be helpful

Might be yet another publicity stunt? I only know he's been promo ting some sort of game show on ITV so perhaps viewing figures are down ? Just don't give him any more publicity. Dr Zoe warned him but his friend knew best!
