covid vaccine: last Friday I had a covid jab. I... - NRAS
covid vaccine

Please contact your GP. Your symptoms might not be related to Covid Jab. Either way you need to get checked out. X
please contact your gp or 111, vomiting a black substance, suggests bleeding in the stomach, with digested blood. This may not be related to the jab at all. It needs investigating, meantime I would avoid any inflammatory type drugs, which can exacerbate the problem
This sounds very odd not vaccine related so contact 111 or if you feel worse then 999 if you can’t get your GP.
It could be vaccine related. Get checked out ASAP regardless.
Runrig is right anything dark suggests blood related. Please get seen urgently if you haven't already. Let us know you are ok.
Please get urgent attention as the others have all suggested. Ring 111 and tell them exactly what you have had happen to you, especially the fact that you have had a covid vaccine recently & the symptoms came on within 2 hours of receiving it. That's very important.
contact 111 as soon as possible, black liquid is often contains blood. get checked out. take care
why dont you contact the nurse who gave injection and ask her ?
sorry to reply so late ended up in A&E for 27hrs lots of tests. they tested sample not blood but chronic gastritis. I didn't eat for 5 days and was too off balance to walk. I don't think I've ever felt so ill and not had a diagnosis. I'm very slowly getting better but still in some pain. Just had my first meal a small salad with boiled egg. it seems to have gone down well. I know the NHS is struggling, but to be so ill at 75 with RH and left on a small hard chair for 27hrs even had an iv from the chair apart for 1hr on a trolly. Medication was given thru the iv. I was then discharged at 5am I had no coat and no car. no one even asked how I was getting home. I was still very dizzy and freezing cold. My cat was treated with more dignity at the vets. I honestly felt a nuisance and in the way. I must have apologised a trillion times. my husband was there for the first 5hrs but because of his frail health I sent him home. not trying to aportion blame just been left feeling very depressed by the whole incident. sorry for the rant.
I'm so sorry you have had such an awful experience. My daughter had a similar experience in A & E last year spending overnight on a trolley in a corridor fitting, literally having to top & tail with another patient watching her suffering. Thank God we were there to call for help periodically overnight, as the staff are stretched to breaking point & patients are left alone to cope after the initial interventions. Then a few days later, having the same experience sitting on a hard chair in another A & E corridor overnight with all manner of upsetting situations involving other patients to witness. My heart breaks for what has happened in the NHS, for whom I worked over 25 years. I'm not sure how many top up vaccines you have had over the course of the last 5 years, but it would be wise to read up about the effects these can have on the immune system & other important related information. Take care of yourself, & I wish you well. Sending a hug.
Sorry for you and your experience, sending gentle hugs to you xox
