I am finally having the neuromas in my feet removed. Yes, I have one in each foot (RF - 15mm, LF 10mm). I was just wondering what footwear would be suitable after the surgery. The surgeon mentioned crocs which I don't have (but can get). I was under the impression I would be in a boot but apparently not. And I am surprised I have been offered to have both feet done at the same time.
At least it gets me a month off work. Kindle is stuffed ready to go. 😉
TIA

Normal trainers and then normal shoes. It’s a tiny incision and covered by a plaster. So perhaps summer sandals for a day or two then boots or shoes. I’ve had it done twice and left hospital in same shoes I went in, in. The stitches are minuscule and no more pain. Crocs are a good choice for a lot of reasons other than just an operation. And they put in a long term pain relief medication so be aware of hot baths and banging the toes which isn’t good. I’ve got a damaged nail after banging my toe on a supermarket trolley which I never felt until the bruise came out. But pain free feet are wonderful and normal shoes without insoles just great. X
