Bladder

Hi. I am wondering what in the world is making me urinate so frequently and often urine gushes out like Mt. Vesuvius! It’s not a little tinkle.

Drinking more because it’s been so hot ?

Oh I wish it were that but no because I had the same condition during the winter. I do have a kidney stone and am not sure if that is pressuring something closer to the bladder. I’m not good at anatomy lol. 😀

Have you sought medical help as it’s been going on so long ?

Kidney stones usually hurt and the colour of your pee is more important so you really should ask your GP. It is probably down to something simple but best to be sure.

I don’t know much about you or your age . It could be the menopause if your that age .. inflammation can effect the bladder . Do you suffer or have symptoms of fibromyalgia as this too can affect the bladder . All the above effect me that way

I'm having a terrible time with my bladder at present. I have fibromyalgia and my bladder is inflamed. I have no uti just Interstitial Cystitis.

When I’m in a flare, and it starts to subside, I have this issue. My own theory is that as the inflammation subsided, all the fluid contributing to the inflammation has to go somewhere. I can lose 3lbs overnight when this is occurring.

Kidney stones cause pain, and as ML can turn your urine pink if blood is present. It shouldn’t change the volume of urine, unless your drinking more hoping to shift it.

I’d ask a doctor as many things can cause this!

All the best

You could have O.A.B or just be having bladder spasms....I'd see a urologist to be sure....

Hiya

Are you on any medication that could be causing it. I’m on blood pressure tablets which definitely cause increased urination.

Have you had a glucose blood test recently ?

.I’d have a word with your GP practice , nurse if I were you!

I had a scan and it turns out I have a large ovarian cyst which is squashing the bladder! It's awful and Im scared to go out of the house some times. Im hoping to have it removed - the cyst, not the bladder

I have your trouble too, especially at night when we are supposed to be asleep. If you take a urine sample up to your surgery then they can check for any infections. You have to collect the bottle and form first from the surgery. I always make sure I keep a spare bottle and form in my cupboard so it’s there if I should need it.Good luck …
