Laryngitis and RA?

I keep getting laryngitis and a tight chest has anyone else experienced this as I think it’s linked to my RA.

Alway comes on if I’m tired or unwell or flaring. X

Hi, I've had laryngitis recently, i'm having a severe flare (long story), I had also recently had a bronchoscopy so could have been have a delayed reaction to that but GP etc didn't seem that bothered and it went in a few days I've spoken to a few people that have had a similar bug recently...RA Nurses weren't that bothered or that it seemed to be connected to my flare. Always worth checking with the Medical professionals though if you keep getting it though to see if there's any connections. Best wishes and hope it improves soon . 😊

No chest tightness, but I have had laryngitis off and on recently with nasal congestion. No sore throat. Allergies? Could it be related to high CRP in some way? I don’t know.

I do get laryngitis regularly often after social occasion. I have wisdom teeth with cause me issues during a flare. I read have to drink lot of water ( I add smoothies to drink too) use teaspoon of honey to soothe it. Also hot lemon and honey drink. Since RA my vocal cords seem to be weaker ? 🤔

Thank you for your reply. I think I’ll ring my Rhuemy nurse as my chest feels irritated and I’m coughing to clear my throat too.

Good idea I speak with mine regularly and always been helped .
