I've only been taking this for for a couple of months for fibromyalgia. Starting on a low dose, it made me feel decidedly odd and made my tummy decidedly excitable. However, these feelings have calmed down a lot and seems to be helping. I was told by the consultant that it was the best med for fibro and takes about six weeks to take effect.

Duloxetine is an anti depressant. It works on the serotonin. My GP prescribed this and I took this for one week and ended up feeling suicidal. I did not know it was an anti depressant that is used for pain. Obviously it works for some people just not me.

I take it for back pain. It took a while to work. It also works as my antidepressant. It took about 3 months before I could feel improvement. Good luck 👍🏾
