Infusions

Biological withdrawn because of cancer. Steriods not controlling swelling.

Consultant may consider infusions every 6 months

Big BUT dependant on oncology input.

Don't know name of drug may begin with R.

Any information gratefully received regarding success, side effects.

probably Rituximab? I had drug withheld because of cancer scare recently but got all clear. Phew.

Thanks for info. I have been searching site and seems most probable drug. Glad you got the all clear. I've had breast cancer followed by lung cancer so have concerns about side effects. All the best to you going forward x

I’m sorry to hear about your cancer and having to stop meds. NRAS do a publication about meds used for RA, you can download it or order a hard copy. You might be able to work out which infusion it will be.
