Thank you once again for all your lovely support while I was going through the shingles horror show!
This booster is my first on Rinvoq. Would love to hear from other people that have had Covid vaccines while taking it.Can anyone advise on how long to stop it for after the jab? I’m also a tad concerned due to reading from various people who state that their meds lost efficacy after the boosters.
Rinvoq has been awesome and I’m keen to keep it that way!

Have you checked if you will be offered the Covid Autumn booster…the age has gone up this year to 65. You can check the other grades who will get it on the nhs website or by calling 119.
Can you contact your rheumatology team and ask their advice? If so I’d recommend doing that as they will know your history and how likely you are to flare if you pause your medication.
I had the spring/summer covid vaccine whilst taking Rinvoq. Didn’t have any problems with it. I have had covid quite badly the last couple of weeks and had the antiviral treatment. This has totally upset my pain and Rinvoq meds. Glad that you are feeling the benefit of Rinvoq. Xx
This isn’t strictly speaking a reply but another question. Our gp is not doing covid boosters and I normally book online. Media have been reporting that you will be able to book online from 18th September but just been on the website and it is not allowing bookings or providing any info on walk ins. What are we supposed to do?
I’ve just logged on and booked one for my husband. He tried earlier and said it wasn’t working. Maybe it opened slightly later than originally planned. I would try again. If not call 119.
