urgent - re sertraline and hydroxychloroquine are they safe?

Hi

is anyone taking sertraline with hydroxychloroquine?

is it safe to mix the 2 drugs ?

is there a different or better anti depressant to mix with hydroxychloroquine ?

Yes, I've taken them together for many years, alongside Humira, prednisolone, Cyclosporin, Methotrexate, Etoricoxib and many others. Obviously, everyone can react differently, but please try not to worry too much. 😊

If they have both been prescribed for you by your doctor don’t worry. If not please check first with a doctor or pharmacist.

I think you’ll get the same answers as the last time you asked, you should speak to your doctors or failing that a pharmacist as we can’t tell you if it’s ok to take them 😔

If you have been prescribed that combination by a qualified doctor …it is 99% certainly the correct treatment for you.

If you doubt that, speak to your GP…who will put your mind at rest.
