I went to get my medication and the chemist has cancelled hdry because they cannot get them, I rang up rumey nurse and they have decided to take me off them altogether now. Has anyone else struggled to get this medication?

No problem getting my hydroxy. Or not so far - I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Hope you can either get it again or your rheumy can get you something else.

I did at one point a couple of months ago have a problem. I'm limited to a specific supplier. They are the only lab who don't use lactose in the manufacture of hydroxy. Phoned the lab and they had had a problem getting it. Within a month they had it again and for the moment all ok. Just keeping everything crossed. Found it helps to phone the manufacturer. I have other meds and that one in the past but I rang around other chemists and found one that had a supply and my gp wrote prescription and I went to that one to collect it.
