pulse of steroids

Hi

I had an IV pulse of steroids last Thursday, I was wondering what experience others might have had with this. Initial results were good, better pain relief, swelling in hands much improved, but I still have pain within each joint, especially wrists and knees.

What's the plan for the future - are you going to have oral steroids for a while? It seems that your other treatment needs sorting out urgently, so that it can start to work while your levels of steroid tail down? Steroids are good for short term relief, but not longer term, of course.
