Fingers fused

Finally, after 6 years, I am getting an operation on Thursday on my right-hand fingers the bones have fused together I used to say when the pain was hitting at least it lets me know that I am still alive and there are billions of people in cemeteries that would love to have my pain,but now the pain is soooo bad it got to the point it would have been better just to chop the handoff. So now I am getting it all fixed has anyone else had this operation to put spacers into joints of fingers?

I haven’t but I hope it goes well. Having problems with my right hand too. I understand your pain and I hope the operation improves it for you.

I really hope that the surgery goes well. I have loads of pain in my hands as well including a clawed left hand. I had a partial amputation of 2 fingers in January last year but am having to have more surgery in the next few weeks to a full amputation and taking it back past the knuckles this time as well. I’m pleased to hear that you’re getting some surgery for your hands. I don’t have experience of it but I’ve been where you are pain wise and know that sometimes we feel we would be better off without the limb.
