For last few months I have been noticing my hands or my fingers having a shake or tremor and feel slightly painful it only last a few minutes. I've had RA for many years now but this is something new. Just after some advice before I talk to my rheumatologist about it as she just seems to not hear me when I tell her something is wrong.... Anyway thanks to anyone information given.

Hi, I have shaking in both hands/fingers but my is all the time. It's definitely getting worse. I've just been referred to a Neurologist by my GP but the waiting list is 71 weeks long. Not sure if it's RA related or not but didn't notice it before I was diagnosed in 2018.
It's definitely worth mentioning, just in case, but don't worry too much as it may be just like mine. I went through a spell about 10 years ago when my hands would shake for a few minutes at a time, for no apparent reason. At one point it was so bad that I couldn't eat a boiled egg as I couldn't get the spoon in the shell. Then it actually occurred whilst I was seeing my GP about something else (anaemia, i think it was). He said he suspected it was something to do with not storing/processing sugars properly, which made sense as it seemed to ease if I ate something. Eventually, it stopped happening, without treatment. Good luck
ooh I get this & asked if they could do a blood test to see if I was becoming diabetic, results came back normal 🤔 & I find if I eat something the trembling/ shaking stops
Thank you both for your comments. I will keep an eye on it and see how I get on. I don't have a appointment with my doctor till January but if it gets worse I'll see if I can get an earlier one. Thanks again.
I get this when I have done too much and need to stop/ rest/ lie down. Feels like I am about to pass out too.
Having read the above comments, it may well be a need for nutrients. Last time it happened I had done several hours gardening, and probably needed lunch 🤦🏻♀️.
