I’m on abatacept and to be honest I have more swellings pain and flare ups now it ridiculous so I’ve decided come off for couple weeks and I’ve been fine so far strange but true . So on my phone appointment on 24 let’s see what they av say

I’ve had a similar problem only with a JAK inhibitor called tofacitanib. From day 1 of taking them my pain increased to a point where I couldn’t bare it. I have informed my rheumy team and asked to go back on mtx injections as that is the only med that has ever worked for me. I’m still in so much pain even though I only took them for a month and I’ve only been off them for a couple of days but pain isn’t quite so excruciating. I hope your team manage to switch you. That’s what I’m looking at.
