CONCLUSIONS

Treatment with ivermectin did not result in a lower incidence of medical admission to a hospital due to progression of Covid-19 or of prolonged emergency department observation among outpatients with an early diagnosis of Covid-19. (Funded by FastGrants and the Rainwater Charitable Foundation; TOGETHER ClinicalTrials.gov number, NCT04727424. opens in new tab.)

There's a surprise!...but it won't make any difference to those who believe with religious fervour.

Oh dear !! That particular drug is used for worms and parasites I would be stunned if it was good for covid 19. I suppose you’d have to be desperate to take it anyway but not one I’d choose. I’m pretty sure they’ve tried loads of different things to combat this awful virus which is affecting so many and hasn’t gone away as some people think. I know a lot of us have more information about what seems to work and what doesn’t but crikey I’m surprised that that one would be considered.
