Hello I am on Orencia - after a very extreme RA flare my Orencia injections began to work 8th week in. I managed to stop all other pain killers gradually. I don't have any side effects up to now whereas I have had side effects with other RA meds. I am losing weight on purpose to help my health further and feeling the benefits. The weekly self injection is simple and painless compared to the agony of extreme RA.

I do it by injection and its painless so I'd not want an infusion. It's in short supply as only delivered a month at a time although prescibed for three months. Made me really sick for a few days and still not fully working but it has made a real difference to me. I don't have any pain as the Azathyoprine worked as well but had to stop the Etanercept because of too many UTI's. So far none on Orencia but blinking glossy brochure and packaging. Must cost a fortune. Not had any delivery issues either and been told that the company will lend freezer packs for travel on request so might see how that works in June.
