Hi all,
I saw my rheumatologist this morning due to ongoing shoulder/arm/wrist pain. I’ve been moved on to jac inhibitors. Does anyone have experience of this type of drug?
Thanks! S x

Yes, I took Baricitinib for a while but had a few minor viral infections with it. I was swapped to Toficinitib and have had no problems with the viral infections. I've had a moderate success with them, much better than anything else I have had.
I have no side effects from Toficinitib, other than a raised cholesterol.
I take a half dose of leflunomide each day with the Toficinitib. Certainly worth a try in my view 😎
I took tofacitinib for a while and found it quite good. Can’t take it now sadly due to a separate health issue but I believe the JAKs are effective.
Loads of posts on here about JAK inhibitors. If you put some of the drug names in the search box - or the one you are going to start - you should find the previous posts. They certainly are simple to take and lots of people have done really well on them, others, as usual, more moxed or no response.
Eventually it will be worked out what sort of over enthusiastic immune system we have and can have tailormade treatment.
