Does anyone get really itchy joints when flaring? So my knuckles, elbows and thumb bones which have nodules go really itchy.

Wondering if it’s my bodies way of confirming flaring like crazy

Yes. Me too but not so much that I’d post about it so must be very mild. Only when hot and pink though. Ice pack would probably help.

Yes, my knees in particular feel itchy on the inside as the inflammation starts to retreat towards the end of a flare. It feels similar to when a wound is healing.

I sometimes get an itchy feeling on the ‘web’ between my left thumb and left forefinger , as well as down the length of the outside of that thumb . At the moment I have a slightly red , swollen right ankle - over the prominent , boney part of the inside ankle . That area feels really ‘prickly’ rather than itchy . RA - the gift that keeps on giving . 😣

Yes, by far the worst is my right hip that drives me crazy the itching is so bad and seems to be from inside rather than on the skin. There is no rashes, redness swelling or any other sign there is anything wrong. I mentioned this to a number of Doctors and get very little response.

Yep, now and again.. very annoying!! Have to stop myself scratching as sometimes it gets red raw.

Well I didn't until reading your post now itching like mad. Ggggrrr... but no nodules at all just a minor bit of swelling over first two knuckles on right hand. lol x
