Positive vibes

For those that have just started Methotrexate, I've just finished my 4th dose of my weekly dose and had a horrible cold/cough virus in between. So far so good, hair intact and no ulcers...felt fatigued but I've also been battling said cough. Pain has definitely alleviated as has swelling. Managed a lovely walk in the New Forest today walking faster than a tortoise too!

Please to hear you're doing well on it. I have always been ok and have been on it for 11 yrs.Its a wonderful feeling when the pain and swelling starts to diminish . Long may it continue for you !These colds / coughs are a nuisance aren't they, I've had one for about 3 weeks and it's just starting to clear although the cough is still keeping me awake.

What a beautiful photo. Thank you for sharing it.

Hope you get over your cold soon.Stay safe and warm xx

Glad it’s helping you. Please just be wary of the cough if it isn’t settling, then see your Dr. MTX can cause inflammation of the lung, which results in a persistent dry cough and sometimes shortness of breath.

Thanks, it was definitely connected to a cold...had concerns about that myself, but it definitely was not dry 👍

That is very positive. It can take 3 months to kick in so you have been very quickbto respond. I have been on mxt for 19 years and found it to be very beneficial for me. All the best.x

Sorry you seem to have had the horrible virus going round here in the south, but glad you are not having side affects from MTX. The photo is super, thank you for sharing that. xx

Hiya, it's at Matley Wood...Bolton's Bench was really busy so we just diverted down the road a little bit, then ended up bumping into some people we hadn't seen for years! It was meant to be!

That is such a peaceful, beautiful picture. Thank you for sharing. I took my 6th dose last night and so far so good. Perhaps a bit more fatigue than normal, but overall I’m pleased. I glad your meds seem to be agreeing with you.

Well done, just wish I could join you walking in the New Forest, currently waiting for both knees to be replaced and miss walking. Hope all stays well with you.🐈🐈
