mycophenolate mofitil

does anyone who is taking Mycophenolate Mofitil know if you have to stop taking it if you have an infection and are taking antibiotics

I took mycophenolate mofitil for around 10 days a few years ago, the blood felt as if it had run cold in my veins and I felt quite ill with it. I stopped taking if myself as I just could not go on with it. Sorry I don't have something more positive or useful to say about it.

sorry for your experience, I have luckily been more fortunate as it suits me but as we know different drugs suit different people but I do hope that you have found something that works well for you.

I’ve been taking mycophenolate for 5 years and no, you don’t have to stop them when you take antibiotics. They work in a different way to methotrexate so antibiotics don’t interfere with mycophenolate.
