Has anyone on Baracitinub had a Covoid Vaccination? I m concerned it might induce a flare up. I know that is preferable to Covoid 19 but I cant seem to get any advice from my Rheumatologist team who have been moved to help cope with Covoid wards.

Baracitinib & Vaccine
I'm not on a JAK inhibitor like you, but I cannot see any biological reason why you would have a flare up and there are no problems of that nature recorded on the Zoe feedback after vaccination. Most people have had a sore arm for a few days, tiredness and some people muscle aching and joint pains, again for a short period. If you have a look at the follow up of people who have had the vaccine (thousands of them) on Zoe you can see the full list of problems following the vaccination.
I’m on Baricitinib and having my vaccination on Saturday. My rheumatologist said shouldn’t effect RA but I must get the vaccination.
My husband is on Baricitinib. First vaccine given with no side effects 😁
I just started it yesterday and get my vaccine next week. My rheumatologist said it may affect the overall level of immunity achieved but was extremely unlikely to cause any untoward side effects so definitely start the baracitinib now and go for the vaccine when available. I am also on MTX and was also told not to stop it at all for the vaccine.
