Getting myself all confused about vaccine now as so much conflicting info?
I'm on biologic benepali, I'm 46 and am classed as CEV, my question is am I allowed either of the vaccines available, I believe the main one around here is the Oxford one (norfolk), but the pzier is also around the area?
Sorry about the repeat questions prob asked 1000 times but need to get straight in my head? 🔂🙄

I was just told today when speaking to my biologics nurse specialist about something else concerning the vaccine that she’s had many, many enquiries as to which vaccine is best for RA patients with immune suppression. I didn’t ask that as I know the answer ... they don’t know the answer! So whatever you are offered .. have it she said. There is loads of debate and advice on this forum if you type in Covid vaccine (and Benepali). I hope you get your vaccine soon. Try check with your rheumy nurse for reassurance.
I was really worried about the vaccine , so I rang the rheumatology helpline and asked them . They told me that the advice is for me to have the vaccine. I’m on immunosuppressants and steroids.
Still conflicting advice out there as my nurse told me this week to stop meds 2 wks before and after. I'm on 10mg mtx and Cimzia. I'm in remission at the moment so should be ok. She said I could have either one on a biologic
Had AZ vaccine yesterday, due to take biological today but decided to give vaccine time to work and catch up in fortnights time. All the best everyone.
Hi Dave, I am on biologic injections and have been told by my Rheumatologist that I can have any vaccine. In fact I had my first vaccination today and all went very well. Do hope you have yours soon. I also live in Norfolk.
Just been told that the local surgery and next closest ones have no stock and no deliveries due in at all next week of the vaccines! So slow here! Glad uv had yours though! 🙏🏻
