Hi Lovemtb,The short answer is no. And I would speak to my rheumatologist ASAP about the rash just to be sure.

I did when I mixed it with prescribed drugs ie penicillin and ibuprofen. So I suggest calling GP or RA clinic whoever you can get hold of to check. I now take antihistamine regularly but now off MTX anyway.

No, I haven't - I've been on it since September of last year. I think you need to let your rheumy know about any rashes asap. If you can't get hold of your rheumy department, ring your GP. Good luck. x

Yes. I get some small red spots round my ankle which are itchy. I have also got two larger marks , one on each leg. They look like blood as they are dark red colour. Hoping to see Rheumatologist in a weeks time to query these.

I used to take methotrexate by injection and I would come up in a large rash around the area injected. Is it this way you are taking it?
