Benepali and Covid

Hi, is there anyone who’s tested positive for Covid and is currently on Benepali? Just interested to know of anyone’s experience? Did you have mild or severe symptoms.

I’m on this bio and obviously like everyone else concerned. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It is possible that it will help keep symptoms mild! Benepali is an anti-tnf, and this is a conclusion of analysis of data about patients with covid:

“Observational clinical data support the potential of anti-TNF therapies as a treatment for COVID-19. Data from the SECURE-IBD registry suggest that when patients with inflammatory bowel disease develop COVID-19, those on anti-TNF therapies do just as well and possibly better than those on alternative agents.Sep 4, 2020”

I'm on Benepali and MTX, just got my NHS app alert to start myself isolation last night due to close contact so I may let you know! Its a good question and would be good to hear people's experiences.
