Hi everyone, who do you cope with your morning pains? The last month has been rough for me waking up every morning at 4-5 am with painfull shoulders. I drink caffeine free tea after 5 pm and stop eating at 6 pm and keep myself busy most days if not flaring. I do take valerian root extract but its not working at all now. Im on MTX pens but soon to start biologics and eating a plant based diet with a bit of fish now and then as this has helped my IBS a lot. Would be great to get 8 hours.

Have you tried heated pads on your shoulders Frankie? I’ve got a terrible flare at the moment and the back of my neck was waking me up a lot until I started heated pads. They’re Deepheat ones. I’ve had 2 good night’s sleep. I also take half a tablet of Boots Sleepeaze tablets with my consultant’s approval. I know someone posted last year about Lidl’s heated shoulder pads. Hope you get a decent sleep soon.
I have a small heat wheat pad, that I can pop in the microwave and then press it directly into the shoulder which helps ease the pain and allows me to have some sleep. Although it's my legs that are giving me sleepless nights at the moment.
