I have been on sulphasalazine for a year now.. I am about 8 weeks pregnant and being sick every now and then. My main issue is that I do not have an appetite so I am not having my sulphasalazine as much as I should- i can only have it with food otherwise I have terrible headaches/nausea from the tablets.
Please help! If I carry on how I am I will have more and more flare ups during part of my pregnancy

I found ginger biscuits helped and flat lemonade too. Not a good diet at 7am but I had to go to work. Only lasts till about 10/12 weeks unless your really unlucky so its worth a go.
may i suggest you talk to your medics? I was prescribed 4 tabs daily to supplement my annual [ish... now 16 months as all delayed here] but I found ssz did not agree with me so was allowed to reduce to 3, then 2 tabs daily. I'm often on 1 tab daily due to diffs with getting scrips delivered ... but it doesn't seem to make much difference. BTW ginger tea may help, also v plain diet, little and often rather than 3 main meals. wishing you all the best :-).
I had hyperemesis gravidarum when I was pregnant and couldn’t keep anything down. I was hardly taking any sulfasalazine either however lots of people find they go into a kind of remission why pregnant due to the pregnancy hormones so you may find you will be fine not taking it and not have any flares. You may well find that your appetite comes back as he pregnancy progresses. I would suggest speaking to your rhumy nurse for advice and reassurance.
