Itchy elbows

Hi all I have developed itchy elbows with spots around my elbows on both arms. They are more like lumps that bleed and they seem to be spreading. Had this about 5 days now. Should I be worried?

Do you have psoriasis or eczema?

No, I have never had any off those. This has come out of the blue!

I guess it's best to get it checked out . You will probably need a treatment xx

I was thinking psoriasis, I get that only on my elbows and only occasionally. I would speak to your gp to confirm but I use steroid cream for a few days to help get rid of it. However if it is bleeding I would definitely seek medical advice before trying anything.

I hate to say it but rashes are now shown as symptoms of COVID-19. I,’m not saying it is that but you really should call your doctor for advice.

I also get this sometimes. Incredibly itchy. Mine don’t bleed. Talk to you rheumatology team, they may be able to recommend a cream to soothe them. I’m pretty sure they are part of the rheumatoid not Covid as they are just on the elbows.
