Wrist Pain (Possible causes and treatment)

I am a 21 y/o male. I have been feeling pain in my radial side of the wrist(Left hand) especially when I press my hand against the wall and typing on mobile. A bony bump is also developed which was not there before, this bone sometimes becomes less pronounced and sometimes more. If I press this bone I feel pain(not severe).

I’m sorry but we can’t diagnose and suggest treatment as we are not medically qualified. Have you been diagnosed with RA? I would speak to your GP about any lumps as they can investigate the cause 😊

No, I haven't undergone for RA diagnosis. I will make an appointment with GP and would take a RA diagnosis test. Thanx for your reply🤗

That’s an interesting bump you’ve got there! Could be anything really. Is your doc doing video consultations? Best to call and show them for your own price of mind.

Ganglion ? but thats just because my husband had one it was surgically removed. But I'd strongly urge you to see your GP.

I'm also wondering whether it could be a ganglion but none of us is medically trained so we can only guess! Do go and see your GP and get it checked out.

When my RA was active my wrist was in agony. The only way I could describe it was that it felt like it was broken couldn’t move it up or down. Whatever it is get checked out!

Hi see your doctor . Have you done a lot of writing for university papers or exams . This looks as through it maybe a ganglion . We are not giving advice or diagnosis here so better for you to see a doctor for confirmation and mind rest . If it is from excessive writing for uni exams and essays good luck 🍀
