We can't get a slot with any of the supermarkets, but a company who must have delivered to the restaurant/catering trade have switched to supplying the public. The produce is good quality even if some of the products are packed in large amounts. We split some things with a friend so it works for us

Same here a local food wholesaler who supplied to schools, hospitality etc had converted to home deliveries. Again like you the produce is high quality and as you say you can easily portion things off, freeze some things and I too have left a few extras on my gate post for a neighbour to have. I have been lucky to date with Iceland but as I am not deemed as at risk, nor have a letter I don't count my chickens on this.

Which supermarket? Iceland are adding slots at 11am Mon-Friday.

I got my first delivery today from Sainsbury’s, after ringing them as I hadn’t heard and with two letters ! Went online again as I was pleased with the shop, all good quality and reasonable sell by dates. Nooo slots available, Will keep trying, if not will ring again tomorrow, so frustrating. X
