Just had left full wrist fusion on Tuesday. Hopefully this is the last of my wrist surgeries because the SLAC Surgery didn’t work and now its fused. Oxy has been good to me so far....I just will be glad to have no cast or leather splint on anymore. ,,,,,at 68 in good health I shouldn’t complain.....life iOS too short especially with the Covid virus issue......did the test prior to surgery and was surprised it was a a different experience then I was expecting.
Stay safe, stay well, stay smiling,

The surgery and aren’t in too much pain. Just wondering what the wrist fusion involves? It’s my wrists that cause the most problems even when well controlled on meds.
Maybe I read your post incorrectly, you said you did the test prior to surgery and was surprised it was a different experience, I thought you meant the covid test and wondered what was unexpected?
My wrist ops were some of the first I had.. My left wrist has been in since about 2000 and still fine. Right one giving me a bit jip .. But I guess you're right gets more use.
I've had both wrists fused and whilst you lose complete flexibility, there is no pain. I hope you have a good recovery and can look forward to a pain free wrist
