I just want to share some experience in the hope that it might be helpful. Dry chapped lips that some people take the trouble to write about could be Cheilitis. There’s also angular Cheilitis which is problems in the corners of the mouth. I’m not diagnosing anyone. Give it a google. I’ve controlled mine with steroid cream. I had it bad, oozing 🥴 for a couple of years. Lipstick was a no, no. 😢 Then out of the blue it cleared up. Recently reared its ugly head after being in the sun. I believe there are different reasons for it. Even if it isn’t, you might pick up something helpful from the internet. There are forums like this one. It’s horrible isn’t it to have dry chapped lips.
Flushing with alcohol could be Rosacea or some other problem. Google it or talk to GP. I have two friends that flush during first drink and it goes down after about fifteen minutes. My new /recent flushing doesn’t go away till hours after last drink. I’ve stopped now. No more booze for a while.
